How to import synonyms from VW3 to VW4?

All my synonyms are in my 'redirects' forum (vb3 with VW3)
Is there a way to import these 200+ synonyms as VW4 synonyms?

They should be properly imported automatically.

So it assumes that all redirects are synonyms? That would be great.

Yes that's the way it works. We figured that more people were familiar with the term "synonym" as it is generally taught in schools regarding language rules and more closely describes how users use redirects anyway, versus the more technical term "redirect" which implies that the user is being sent to their destination via a longer, unexpected path.
