Convert VB Active License to XF

Is this possible since I've switched to XF and since I've been active with the VB version when I had it, could I switch to it painlessly?

If you purchased your license before March 1, 2013, and your license is currently renewed status, you can request change of platform 1 time.

Also if you purchased your license after March 1, 2013, and your license is currently renewed status, and you never downloaded VaultWiki yet.

Alright well it was all figured out

However there isn't an obvious way to install it, I can't find a xml file to import for my test site.

I have a big board that I am going to migrate to XF. I will need to do a lot of testing on my private testing environment. Will I be able to download both the xf version and the latest vb3 updates?

1. Wait for the vB3 update to be released (Beta 2 or 3, depending on severity of issues before then).
2. Download (and save a copy, so you can do the live import later) of the vB release.
3. Upgrade your vB test environment to VaultWiki 4.
4. Request a change of platform to XenForo for your license.
5. Install VaultWiki 4 on XenForo.
6. Import VaultWiki 4 from vB3 into XenForo.
7. After your live import, please destroy the vBulletin copies you had saved.

Once we have a stable cross-platform importer for VaultWiki 3 > VaultWiki 4, this process will be much simpler. For now, though, the VW3 > 4 importer only works from vBulletin to the same vBulletin.
