VW4 for vb3 ETA guestimate?

I know its foolish to expect any firm release date, especially after all the time that has passed by.
The XF release has a guestimate of Q2 2013.
Will VW4 be compatible with vb3 before the XF release or after?

I would really like a response to this thread. Its clear that the XF release comes first, but how about the ETA / release schedule for VW4 for vbulletin 3?

As far as I'm aware, Beta 2 released earlier today should support vB 3.6 - 4.1.3 as well. However, the installation script has not yet been tested on these versions, so there has not been an announcement.

Ah, now its getting really interesting. Please test if the upgrade script works.

4.0.0 Beta 2 Build 003 upgrade script confirmed working on vB 3.8.7.

I suppose now that the issues with the installer and upgrader are worked out, Monday would be the day for a mailing.
