If Vaultwiki 4 comes out next year, for which forum software will you need it?

As a lot is happening relating to vbullletin and xenforo I am wondering what platforms people will use VW4 for.
vb3 and vb4 are getting outdated and incompatible with server software like PHP.
vb5 seems a massive let down to many. At least at this time,
XenForo is abandoned by its developers. At least at this time.

It seems to me that Vaultwiki 4 will likely be out next year. Its a massive project which is slowly going forward.

So what are your plans and what forum software will you use with Vaultwiki 4?

      Must have been mistaken.
Someone also told me vB5 was planned and scrapped due to unworkable code made in India.

Unless I am misinterpreting, all of what you have said is news to me. vBulletin 5 is currently in beta and there is supposed to be a public sandbox at vBulletin's site.

I'll be running vB4 for one year ahead. I'm not sure that vB5 will be robust and supported in the meantime. In the actual beta there are not blogs and pages. And many third part developers are waiting if their code will be usable or predated.

I want vaultwiki v4 and I want to do upgrades one in a time.

Well, even if it is still incomplete and buggy, vB5 is the future of vBulletin, so I will switch from vB4 to vB5 probably sometime next year. I really hope a version of Vaultwiki for vB5 will be available then.
