vBulletin Connect 5 - What does vaultwiki think of it ?

Hi Pegasus & VaultWikians,

Tried the vB5 demo yet ?

Seems like it is a long way off from being able to get vaultwiki working with it !

vBulletin 5 has been logged in our tracker since the Alpha. We have a working test installation, but the priority is lower due to it being so new. XenForo and IPB support were requested first and have been in the pipeline for 2 years now, so we intend to get those wrapped first.

It's really not such a big deal to port VaultWiki 4. XenForo seems to be going very smoothly as of right now; based on this, the only long part of the process I see now is converting the some 100 templates used to render VaultWiki to each platform.

I would not be surprised if many Vaultwiki customers are migrating to XenForo or IPS after seeing vb5. Various expert coders state that the vb5 code quality is quite horrible.

I'm glad that VW4 will be available for IPS and XF. I will be needing it.

IP.B is next, but first we need a VaultWiki for XF release that doesn't seem to crash all the time.

ok wonderful great when ibp the next System is - because i will invest into ibp for an english Website and would also like to use Vault Wiki there with a second licence maybe
