I edited this post because I don't think I stated my question very clearly (I apologize).
I'm wondering what will happen to :
1. Existing user comments in the discussions (as they *can* get split topics for discussions VW4)

The first release of VaultWiki 4 will only have 1 line of discussions, but yes we are intending to expand that fairly soon after. Existing comments would be added to the "main" line of discussion for a page, but each page could have multiple lines of discussion to choose from when reading/posting (depending on settings).
