vBulletin CMS Widget Sidebar

Hi,

Are you planning on adding the option to enable the vBCMS widget sidebar?
It would greatly help in keeping the site looking like it belonged together.

We intend to add a similar widget sidebar, with customizable widgets more related to the wiki. This would not be introduced before 4.0.0 Alpha 2.

Wouldn't it be easier to embrace the vBCMS and just add Wiki Widgets as just more widgets?
Otherwise I will probably have to figure it out myself

The answer is yes and no. We will have to take a hybrid approach since vBCMS widgets are only available on CMS pages. There is no built-in system for customizing them on a page-by-page basis outside the CMS, and this is a level of flexibility we want to provide with wiki widgets.
