      Collapsing TOC?

Is there a way to collapse the table of content on the books so you just see the name of the book and not all the chapters too?

In the Navigation, is there a way to have the "Book" link go to a specific page instead of the special page books link?

Are you talking about the main TOC on the first page in the book? This is inline in the book page.
Or do you mean the TOC on each chapter in the book? This is contained in a collapsible box.

You can't edit special pages, but you can remove the link or add your own by modifying the template vault_general_links

No i mean when you have multiple books listed on a list, the TOC are all uncollapsed. I think it's the same nesting things, I'll just have to move them to a subforum and see if that works.

That gave me a second problem: I went to try to move things and disabled wiki (accidentally) in a forum and now all the pages say "There is currently no text in this page." Is there any way to get them back or do I have to start over?

EDIT: nevermind, I moved them and moved them back and everything is back..phiew!

The TOC items for nested books don't collapse, no. There is currently no way to do this unless you hack the files.

Ok, would be a nice feature. I put the chapters in a subforum.

Edit: that didn't work so if I don't want the TOC listed, I'd have to list each book manually instead of adding the books to a main book. Not sure that makes sense.

ok sorry for the repeat post.

When I was talking TOC, I meant the ones with the book icons.

Now I was checking things out and noticed that each book has both: Book Title: Contents and then an Actual TOC.

And now I'm confused as to which I can't remove. I think I like the look of the box better.

I appreciate your help, I love this wiki!

The "[Book Title] - Contents" box shows all books / chapters above or below the current book in the hierarchy, and it shows headlines in the current page. You can turn this off in Settings > Options > VaultWiki: General Settings, or hide the box on certain pages with .

The "Table of Contents" headline lists chapters nested below the current page and lets you add new chapters to it. You can't turn this off.
