Question invalid tag specified - can't create new namespace

every time i try to create a new namespace, it tells me "invalid tag specified". i assume it means the bbcode tag? i added [test], test, etc, and it still gives me the same error, so i can't create a new namespace. any help would be mucho appreciated!

What version of VaultWiki are you on? Not having any issue here on 3.0.9. Also what version of PHP?

The word test should work since it contains only word characters, no digits, and is not empty. Since test is not working for you on the latest version, the only thing I can think of is that some other code is clearing the form data for the variable bbcodetag. Please PM me a list of the other modifications on your site, so I can try to locate the problem.

I was unable to find issue with the modifications you posted. To confirm,
Does the form contain a field "BB Code Tag Name" that you are able to fill it in?
When you enter the word test (no brackets []), you receive the error?
For "Top-Level Forum", does this occur for both "Create New Forum" and existing forums?

Does the Namespace Manager contain a row #0?

yeah, there's a field called "BB Code Tag Name", and when i enter "testtest", (with create new forum selected) it works, but when i try "how2", "how3", etc, it gives me the error again.

as for the row #0, there's a column "#" with a zero in it, with the title "island".

You can't include numbers in your tag names. Only alphabetic characters are accepted.
