Pagasus can you give us an update on development of vaultwiki 4.0 what is the estimate completion date.

Updated completion estimate is 2/15/2011 for Beta 1. As I mentioned in another thread, this is taking into consideration only the vBulletin version and preserving existing features without making any new ones. Keep in mind that we are rewriting VaultWiki from scratch, not simply updating some classes or database tables. This is a huge undertaking and difficult to gauge time based on previous updates because there has never been an update this massive before.

I saw that you where rewriting the framework of vaultwiki, i can imagine that it will take time before its completed, i only ask because the milestone in the tracker said/says December so that was a bit strange because i do not read all threads on this forum.

XenForo will be Beta 2. We just want to get the new framework released and beta tested before we start adding too much on top of it.

Yes, since we have pared down the first release to core-only, something should be ready for public testing very soon (finishing up the attachments back-end today). We will also post an announcement to let users know if they need certain features which versions to wait for to upgrade.

Pegasus can you give any updates yet because when i try to follow development i don't see much happening in the tracker. Really can't wait till i can try it on IPS.

We are very close to a public alpha now for vBulletin.

I spent the better part of yesterday updating the tracker, because, as you mentioned, there had not been much activity there in a while. Keep in mind that we don't have to reach 100% in order to release a beta. But we do in order for VaultWiki 4 to be considered Gold.

Thank you for explaining when its ready to test drive on IPS give a shout, if an active license is needed its no problem to renew.
