Timeline for 3.1 ?

I see a lot of items in the support section that have milestones of 3.1 including several features and bug fixes that I am in need of. (forumindex bbcode fix, bbcode icons for dark backgrounds, etc)

When can we expect to see 3.1 released?

Even though many items are listed under Milestone 3.1, this doesn't necessarily mean that you will have to wait until 3.1 to see the change. It simply means that we intend to have it any time before 3.1 Gold.

That said, most of our efforts are already focused on 3.1 itself, so we expect only 1 or 2 more maintenance releases with major fixes. It's hard to give a good estimate of when 3.1 will be ready because it contains a major rewrite of the product's back-end, as well as major changes to the style and functionality of many parts of the wiki, while at the same time being able to support multiple forum platforms. It's a big undertaking, so I can't say when to expect it, just when we hope to have something: Q4 2010.
