Advanced editor or quick repy editor opens under same circumstances

I'm seeing different behaviour by the software, under seemingly the same circumstances. Not sure if there is a bug at play or something else.

When clicking 'edit' for a chapter sometimes the 'quick reply editor' opens, but at other times the 'advanced editor' opens?
When playing around with hiding chapters this happens more often or when editing one chapter and then opening another.

I think you are confusing the terms chapters with article sections. You can only perform one AJAX section edit at a time. If you try to open a second one, you will be taken to the advanced editor, because the Javascript detects that the AJAX editor is not in a ready state (it's actually in use). This is intended behavior.
