This is what I noticed.
Would it be possible to have the "New" page name show in the forums ?
Is the page forwarding temporary ?
When the page forwards, should the Address Bar reflect the real name of the page ?

1. Both page names are listed in the forums. This makes sure that moderators and editors can access the redirect to decide what to do about it.
2. This happens to prevent existing links to the page from breaking. A redirect is not temporary - it requires that a moderator takes action and makes sure that the existing links are updated before removing the old title.
Redirects are not always undesirable. Some wiki users intentionally create them when they want the same content to be accessible from slightly different URLs. Having different titles for the same content can help users who aren't sure what page they are looking for find the right page.
3. The address bar cannot be updated once the page is loaded, without causing a refresh. The page is automatically refreshed for guest users to make sure that only the "new" page is indexed by search engines. Logged in users will not be redirected, but will instead receive the "Redirected from page" message in order to minimize confusion.
