      Namespace 'Book'

      Hi all

I'm trying to add the namespace 'book'. I have created a forum for it etc. The problem is, it functions just like a normal article namespace and doesn't look anything like the one on the wiki on this site. Am I missing something?

      Regards, Sandy

Have you linked the book namespace and the forum together through the namespace manager?

Have you created an article already? Once you have, you gain the 'book' tab, which then allows you to create (or once you have a book available) or add it to an already existing book.

Hi, yep have done all that.
I have the book tab, and it takes me to a text editor box.

      have a look at
      www.tasmaniaforums.com.au
I would expect by clicking on 'book' on my wiki I would end up with a page of links to articles... but it doesn't happen on mine.

I'm very new to wikis and don't understand them very well.
      Regards, Sandy

You can use this example as a guide:
      1. Go to any wiki forum.
      2. Create a new article called "Chapter 1."
      3. "Chapter 1" will have a tab called "book". Open this tab.
      4. Choose "Add to New Book", or any book in the list (if there are any yet).

If "Add to New Book" was selected, the following occurs:
      5. This will prompt you to give the Book a title, say "Book 1".
      6. You will then have a text editor which lets you write an introduction to the Book.
      7. Save the Book, and you will have "Book 1", that also contains "Chapter 1".
