What's the scoop with VaultWiki Lite ?

You must be psychic. We are planning to release Lite today in tandem with RC 1, because naturally we had to wait for a release with a proper upgrade-to-full script. We are just finishing up some QA with that script in particular.

As the day progresses, we will be adding a Lite column to our feature matrix page, opening some new sections in our Project Tools, and releasing Lite over at vbulletin.org. While we will not be hosting the download here, it will be fully supported, so any questions and bug reports should be handled on this site.

VaultWiki Lite is very minimal (less than 1/2 the size of the full product), and mainly serves the purpose of allowing us to place several advertisements on vbulletin.org without violating their ToS. However, we have learned from our past mistake (August 2008, when we made our first Lite release) and this time made sure that Lite actually worked and was relatively easy to use.
