Make Books Feel like a Manual.

A website that uses vaultwiki to make a manual for their product wants their users to Feel like they are documenting their product well.
Wikis can sometimes feel like they aren't a discrete entity.

How about export a wiki as a .pdf manual ! (addon product ?)

How about making the "Books" page feel like a library !

Regarding eBook exporting/output - we already have a PDF export for books planned (which seems to be supported on most eBook hardware). If there are any other eBook formats you would like to see added, please mention the ones that are most important to you and your users (the Wikipedia list of formats is quite long to create export algorithms for all of them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compari...e-book_formats)

.pdf would be the key format for me.

Questions - would the discussions/comments be included ? Optional ?
Option to hyperlink back to the original forum URL ?
An exported .pdf that people use but with links back to the original site could serve as a document to attract people back to your site ! Let's say a wiki about golf tips distributed a document of a section of their wiki ... and people passed it around the internet ... when they get a hold of it ... they should be able to click on the .pdf and be taken back to the wiki ... they might sign up to the site (AND) contribute to the wiki !

PDF exports have been deferred for a while. We are working on portability and scalability for the immediate development future.
