If I upgrade to vBulletin 3.8.4 will things break in Vault Wiki, or is the problem only with upgrades of PHP to 5.3?
I was planning to upgrade to 3.8.4 this weekend.

It looks to me like the only problems are with PHP 5.3. Aside from the vbchop() fix (we don't use that function anyway), I'm not aware of any other significant changes in vBulletin 3.8.4 that would have an adverse effect on VaultWiki functionality.
