Peg... will I be okay upgrading my wiki? Is is hard to do?
also I don't know how it's structured here now but it takes forever to find the forum main page, no matter what forum home link I click. Very frustrating and I don't like it.

Upgrading from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 is a very simple process. You should have no problems.
"Forum Home" is tied to whatever tab you're currently viewing. If you're not already on the "VaultWiki" tab, click the VaultWiki tab. I suppose we can also change the wording of "Forum Home" depending on the currently selected tab. I will post this request.

I see thank you.
Since I see no instructions should I just overwrite all php files then run the upgrade ... right?
Nothing will go away or change I hope, fret. I put in allot of time wikiing.
I just upgraded my lamp site last night from 3.7.1 version to 3.8.3 version and all went well, then I installed the latest blog 2.2.
I will report back after upgrade.

It seem to go well, except for 2 issues.
when you go to special pages and click on http://tvlampforum.com/showwiki.php?...ial:Categories
it throws an error, and it seems to have added a new status to the the left column on all wiki and forum pages too....Code:Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 3 by reference in /home/tvlamp/public_html/vault/extensions/category/special/special_categories.php on line 62
http://tvlampforum.com/wiki-books/ (see the first column on the left with the little icon well this was never there before and now its on all forum and wiki pages, in the left column..
and it seems to have effected my navbars (separated them) BUT only on the forum when in a forum, not a category, which was perfect before the upgrade. See here..
forum main page is fine - http://tvlampforum.com/
forum category is fine - http://tvlampforum.com/vintage-retro-lamps/
BUT
go to a forum and see the navbar? http://tvlampforum.com/art-deco/
it moved the forum description UP and broke the navbar
Do you need login details again Ted?
I am not capable of fixing this
The navbar and forum template issues you are having look to me to be more likely related to your recent vBulletin upgrade, because a lot of templates were probably changed or reverted.
I will look into them to confirm if you want. If you changed the login since last time, I will need it again.
As for the Categories issue, you will need to install the latest Categories patch.

Yes the logins are still the same Ted (but I will pm them to you so in case)
I followed the category upgrade instructions and it worked!
-----------
My major concern is why, when I did the wiki upgrade... did my navbar change when viewing an inner forum or thread.
After the upgrade to 3.8.3 it did not change, it was only after last nights wiki upgrade.
I am PM'ing you logins again.

Logins PM'ed to you.. and also it is not happening in all forums which is really weird.
I would have no idea what to look for so I appreciate you looking at it and fixing it.
I reverted my showthread template but that did not fix it, hummm. Be back later.
Hi, I looked at your forum and these are my findings:
- The extra icon in the thread list is there by default (see our forum display) and is present in your custom threadbit template.
- Check your custom navbar template. The code for the forum description (search 'forumdesc') appears in 2 places.

ahhhhhhh thank you. I will report back.
yep thats a 10/4 peg... that was the issue, and yes i had played with that template yesterday trying to move things around..lol I guess I didn't do so well. Thank you very much for that direction.
Also I love the little colorful wiki eggs you have here.
