We have several books.

1. Installation - very simple
2. Documentation - good, maybe explain nested chapter books a bit better
3. Ease of use - good and intuitive
4. Site member feedback - early days, but very +ve

Update: We are now running 3.0.10 and have had VaultWiki active for over a month.
Our is called a Library http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php and it contains a wealth of photography related information.

Our forum members love it!
A site admin from another forum was dubious at first (why does a forum need a wiki?), but he told me that now that it's a winner.

It gets down to this...

Great product and great support, even though pegasus seems to do it by himself, where he finds the time for deveolopment and support is beyond me. Good job none the less.

I don't regret using vaultwiki in the least, it's placed at a very economic price as well.

I run a forum for foreign motorcyclist in Japan. We have a lot of information buried in forum threads/ sub forums etc,
and often it can be hard to find that information. Since we installed VaultWiki, we have been able to make that information
much more visible, available and manageable, in terms of formatting in a logical and searchable way.
The full body of integration features make this Wiki feel like it is part of the forum software rather than some plugin.
We are still learning about what VaultWiki can do, but I have to say, it is even at this early stage, the best addon we have yet applied to our forum.

I started using VaultWiki in its early alpha stages on freeunitedclubofkids.com, long before before our forum was merged into Cracked Egg Studios. I had tried other products in the past such as MediaWiki and NuWiki, so there was a bit of a learning curve to get used to the new syntax, but I was pleased to find a solution that finally integrated with the look and feel of my existing site.

As one of the few users who's seen this product grow from a mere hack into a full-blown product over the past two years, I can say I've been quite pleased with the enhancements in each new installment and I haven't looked back. Unlike other mods I've used that are rarely updated, I definitely get my money's worth when it comes to support and updates.

I was fortunate enough to have a background with wikis, but it's good to see that Cracked Egg Studios has published such an extensive documentation this past summer. Now, regardless of your experience level, if your community has a unique subject matter like mine did (the historical Free United Club of Kids), I recommend using Vaultwiki to share that subject with the world.

I did think that it was confusing to install, but not as confusing as other products that require a separate wiki package and then bridge to vBulletin. I fumbled through it using my vbtest site and got everything up and running. I found the concept of a wiki was confusing in and of itself, especially when we are all so used to being thread/forum driven. VaultWiki bridged that gap very well, with very very little work needing to be done after the initial setup.

I submitted a few bugs in the past and always received prompt and polite responses, even checking up to see if I had managed to fix it on my site.

I'm glad that the new version has an expanded help section, and the ease-of-use changes look wonderful!

Thanks again, our admin staff and general members love the wiki, even if we don't use it to its fullest capacity (we don't allow everyone to add/edit).

I can't say enough about how much I love this wiki software especially on my Lamp Forum, see example book here http://tvlampforum.com/showwiki.php?...lle+Patterns+A and how easily it integrates into vbulletin.

Though I did have difficulty understanding the setup instructions, Ted was great support in doing it for me because I was really lost.

CES VaultWiki has been the best thing I've come across for vBulletin. To find a working and userfriendly Wiki for vBulletin is something I've been hunting for for years!

So many bridges and other attempts at integrated wikis show very little planning and long term commitment, but with VaultWiki I have found a team who are committed to the project, who are users themselves, and listen to the needs of the customers and respond quickly to them.

The support with VaultWiki is second to none. Bugs always occur in software, but the developers here have worked hard at resolving them as quickly as they surface.

All in all, I would recommend them and VaultWiki to anybody. Worth every penny.

I've been using this vbulletin add-on for quite some time now and would reccommend it wholeheartedly.

For a start, the way it integrates with vbulletin is just great, you can create your own pages, let your users edit them and easily edit anything that you don't like, you can change which usergroups have permissions to edit/view/post etc and everthing is searchable with the built in vbulletin search box.

I tried several other wiki programs before this one and none of them integrated as much as this one.

There is only one thing better than vaultWiki and that is the support. They have helped me with several problems which were related to my custom templates and have taken the time to walk me through anything that has cropped up. They also listen to all feedback and use this info to modify vaultwiki so that we have a better experience using it.

I would reccommend this product to everyone looking for a new wiki for vbulletin.
