      Extracting VaultWiki Phrases

      Is there a way of extracting the VaultWiki phrases so they can be translated? I'd like to help expand some of the languages VaultWiki is available in, and with German, French, Italian and Russian users (and languages) on my site, I might be able to help with this.

      You might need to be in debug mode to do this, but you can download the language from AdminCP -> Languages & Phrases -> Download/Upload Language. Select CES VaultWiki from the product list.

      If you were going to coerce your users translate it, you would have to work out some passive or private, non-disclosure, method of doing this, because re-distributing the language XML to your users would be in violation of the [vault]VaultWiki License Agreement[/vault].

      Remind me how to set it in debug mode... I did know it once.

      The phrases would be extracted (from the xml) and restricted to moderator and admin access at least, but most likely done via PM.

      In includes/config.php, add:
      PHP Code:
      $config['Misc']['debug'] = true;
      However, all your users can see this. I recommend installing our mod from vb.org. CES Debug Switcher.

      This will show it on a permissions basis (and you can leave it all the time) and the output is more complete than other small debug mods.
