      Question Current Installations

Is there information available on current installations of VaultWiki?

I am the site manager for a large collector's group that is considering adding VaultWiki to our vBulletin installation

We have some concern that VaultWiki may suffer the same fate as NuWiki and leave us with a tool that requires a great deal of work to keep up with the rapidly flowing releases of vBulletin.

We have been using vBulletin for about 6 months now. Our board has been active since 2000 with previous installations of UBB, InfoPop and bbV2 before vBulletin. As a result we have a very large history of posts and a fairly large community. Since our members are world wide it is difficult to shut down the board for very long without causing them problems.

We are tentatively planning to deploy vB Blog and have just deployed vB Project Tools. We are planning to install Kerry Anne's Ultimate Side Columns to provide a format for our board similar to the one you are using here.

What sort of references are available for VaultWiki?

The cost is not really a concern for us since the cost in time and effort is expected to be much greater. We also anticipate some significant organizational issues in managing the Wiki to provide a rich resource of horological information with much more structure than our current 45,000 threads and 350,000 posts provide.

This is a pretty old thread, but this question has been asked on multiple occasions.

For privacy reasons, we currently do not share a list of our existing customers. However, we may add an opt-in directory at some point this summer as we do our re-design of the site.

I know this is an old thread, but there is now an opt-in directory here: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Site-Directory
Please list your site there if you're okay with sharing it.
