I think it would be awesome to have an active wiki inside the forum section.

In the example, I'm having a hard time understanding why that information isn't in a wiki first-post.

It isn't created until the thread is created.

Say I create a thread, and it becomes 40 pages long.

If I can edit the wiki for that thread...it's constantly updated for any new users so they can see.

I'm hoping you will be able to achieve something like that in v4 using thread-level headers.

In VaultWiki 4, create a wiki article to replace your 2nd-post wiki, then link it to your thread as a thread header: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/2876/
