This is very annoying..
You really need to make sure people know that this only works for 4.0.8 because i didn't figure out until after i downloaded it and tried to install it....
Is there any version of this that works for 4.0.1? If so please post.

It works for vBulletin 4.0.1, but there will be style issues because vBulletin made some drastic changes to styles since then. If you have vBulletin 4.0.1, then you have a lifetime license to vBulletin 4, so why not just upgrade to 4.0.8?
oh when i tried to run the installer it got database errors :p
Ill upgrade to 4.0.8 anyways because the themes i have and some themes i wantfit on it.
and do you know why i got database errors?
If you post which database error you got, I may be able to explain why.
Another user experienced a similar issue and reported the specific database error. It seems that when we made certain improvements to our site's download system, it also caused a number of important files not to be downloaded correctly. This was particularly noticeable only for users who tried to perform a first-time installation of the product, and/or for users running branding-free versions (in these cases the provided download was not branding-free) who didn't have "only download files changed since" checked.
This issue has been fixed on our end. In either case, downloading the complete ZIP again and replacing your existing VaultWiki files should correct any issues this caused - allowing installation of the product, and removing branding where it shouldn't be.
Ok thanks guys im gonna post the error once i run the installer again.
