Navigation options
Hi, I'm interested in a content management style system to add-on to my vbulletin. I like the idea of a wiki so that all of my users can come together to create content. However I'm not sure if the navigation is what I really want.
I can imagine having about 20 "wiki" pages that are pre-defined and titles remain the same, but content is editable by users. But I would like it if there was a navigation on the side of the page with a list of all the pages in the wiki.
It would also be handy if this navigation bar could explode, so for instance if my website was about cooking the nav bar could have:
thai
chinese
mexican
and then if you clicked on chinese the 'chinese' wiki page would open, and there would be info about chinese food, but the navigation bar would then change to
thai
chinese
stir fries
chicken recipes
reheating instructions
mexican
etc.
Can anyone think of a plug-in that would enable me to do this with vault wiki? Is there a product apart from vaultwiki that might enable this?

There isn't an existing product atm for this (to my knowledge), but I believe something like this for categorizing is being developed for the Gold release of 3.0.0. However, I don't believe it's going to include an ability to add widgets to the wiki itself. The best option I could suggest would be installing vbAdvanced, integrating it into the wiki, and then adding a custom built module/widget for the categories.
That is a lot of work for something like that though.
