Landscape Thumbnails?
Hello,
Is it possible to force a thumbnail to be landscape when adding an image from the image namespace? Ideally it would achieve this by cropping the image so it fits an aspect ratio.
I'm asking for this page, it would be nice for everything to line up without having to upload a new set of aspect ratio controlled images to the image namespace.
Cheers,
Moses.

vBulletin doesn't automatically crop images when creating thumbnails. VaultWiki gives it a new set of max-size settings, but that's all. The default is 180x400 I believe.
The closest you can get to your desired effect is to limit the height more, or reverse the setting to 400x180 (or something that follows your desired aspect ratio). Neither will force an image into the ratio, but they should all be aligned vertically if the original height was higher.
This can be done in Settings > Options > VaultWiki: General Settings > Thumbnail Max Dimensions, but it will change the settings globally for all wiki images.
You can rebuild existing thumbnails the normal way: Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Attachment Thumbnails. Since this includes regular posts, it will probably take some time and annoy your server load.

Thanks for the answer Pegasus, reckon I'll just re-up them as landscape
