How do I create a link within an article

Let's say I write a wiki article about watch and want user to click on the word "Grandfather Clock 1902" in the artice and be able to go to another article titled Grandfather Clock. How do I do that?

Also is there a way to automate the linking per subject?

It depends what namespace "Grandfather Clock" is in. If it's in a different namespace, you need to use a wiki link BB-Code (see your Special:WikiCodeList). If it's in the same namespace, the wiki might automatically make the partial "Grandfather Clock" a link.

If you click on the BB-Code in the editor you may notice that it doesn't ask for an option. However, it does accept one.

In this scenario, you want to link the full phrase to an article "Grandfather Clock". Put "Grandfather Clock" as the option-code of the BB-Code.

You use the word "might", does it mean it also might not? In which case it won't?

This depends on your wiki's settings and the context of the phrase (what HTML or BB-Codes are around it, for example).

Just straight text, no code.

In that case it would, provided "Grandfather Clock" already exists.
