Change the URL of the wiki.
By default your wiki is located at - www.mysite.com/forums/wiki
Some users prefer to not have the forums at that URL but would prefer to have their wiki accessed via
www.mysite.com/wiki.
Change the URL of the wiki
There is one setting that is key in all of this:
AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > VaultWiki: Server Settings > Wiki Base URL

You should remove the /forums from the setting in order to get the correct path.

If you then go to AdminCP > VaultWiki > Initial Wiki Setup > Mod-Rewrite Generator, it should be able to tell you which .htaccess files you need to modify.
