Within VaultWiki their are several ways of naming your Wiki and sections of it:
  1. The main name used globally across your site (navbars, breadcrumbs, etc)
  2. The default namespace for the main Wiki article entries
  3. The forums that you use for your namespaces and their subforums
Here we will explain how to adjust each one.

The Global Name of Your Wiki

The main setting for the global name of your wiki can be found within the vBulletin Settings section of your AdminCP (Admin Control Panel). To reach the location of the setting, you need to select the options as follows:
  • Login to your AdminCP
  • Select Settings (figure 1.1)
  • Select Options from the menu that drops down (figure 1.1)
  • Select (Edit Settings) VaultWiki: General Settings from the menu that becomes available (figure 1.2)
  • Scroll Down to the section Name of the Wiki and there adjust the setting from the default Wiki to the name you would like (figure 1.3)

Note:Adjusting the Name of your Wiki here will result in the name being used globally across the site, such as in the navbar and in breadcrumbs. This may make them look awkward if you choose a name that is long.

The Default Namespace

Adjusting the name of the Default Namespace will affect how that namespace alone is displayed across the site. There are several settings associated with this that can adjust how this behaviour works. To reach the location to adjust these settings, you need to select the options as follows:
  • Login to your AdminCP
  • Select VaultWiki
  • Select NamespaceManager from the menu that drops down
  • Select [Edit] for the default namespace, usually ID #6 and by default called Default

Within the page that displays, you will see two settings we need to use: Title and Display Title. The first, Title affects what the master name of this default namespace is. What this is set to will be used universally for the site, if no Display Title is set. Setting the Display Title results in the default namespace using that name.

So, as an example, if you set Title to "The Wiki", and leave Display Title blank, then "The Wiki" will show up through the site wherever the default namespace is referred to. Setting Display Title to "My Wiki" will mean that "My Wiki" will show up instead of "The Wiki".
