If you have an "Alpha Team" drop-down in the site's navigation bar, welcome to the VaultWiki 4 Alpha Team. If you choose to participate, you can see new versions of VaultWiki before they are released, offer constructive criticism, and help us identify bugs. Here are some rules we'd like to ask members of the Alpha Team to follow.

Above all, do NOT share the link to the sandbox or your unique access key with anyone.

You will be interacting with early versions of VaultWiki releases. Check Today's Goals daily, and follow the outline as best you can. Things outside of this list that are broken are missing are that way because the developers are currently working on them.

If you need to report anything, post under the same VaultWiki Support tab that you usually do, but do so on the live site. When you submit bug reports or improvement requests, identify as specifically as possible what's wrong and what you believe could be done to improve the issue. If you notice regressions or features that need improvement, create reports with the "Task" type.

Keep in mind that the sandbox is a mirror of this site, and we attempt to synchronize log-ins from this site to the sandbox (but not the other way). If you need to change your password here, you won't be able to access the sandbox anymore, so let us know if this happens.

We will occasionally restore the sandbox to earlier states. Don't post any information you want to keep in the sandbox, since it will be deleted in a few days' time. Again, reports and important discussions should be posted on the live site.

As long as you follow the other rules, you are free to discuss and post screenshots from the sandbox on public sites.

In order to access the sandbox, select Alpha Team > Get Sandbox Access. This link generate your temporary access key, which will only be valid for your current browser session, and it will synchronize your log-in session here with your sandbox session.
