To view any version of an article, click on the date and time of that version in the list on the History tab. You will automatically switch to the article's main tab, which will now show the output of the page as of the date and time you clicked.

Additionally, for section edits, the → links on the History tab will jump to the modified section.

A message will appear at the top reminding you that you are viewing an older version of the page. If you are viewing a new version pending review, the message will reflect that instead.

The controls on this page allow you to navigate between older and newer versions, switch to the current version of the article, or compare this version with any of those by clicking the respective "(diff)" link.

You may also see other controls for leaving reputation, reporting problems to moderators, reversing the change, or outright removing it from the history. The availability of each option depends on the user's permissions.

You can't edit an old version of the page. The Edit tab only contains the current version of the article text.
