2. Creating Synonyms from an Area

You can create synonyms without even visiting an article's Synonyms tab. This can be useful when the target article doesn't exist yet, or when you want to creating synonyms for several articles without having to visit them all.

Instead, visit a wiki area that allows synonyms. Under the "Create New" menu, select "Create New Synonym."

This will open a similar form to the Synonyms tab, except there will be additional fields for entering the target article's prefix, title, and section (if desired).
