2. Creating Forum Headers

The process for creating a Forum Header is notably different from creating other wiki article types. There are two parts to creating a header:

1. Making the target forum Header-enabled.
   
2. Creating the header itself.

To enable forum headers for any forum, visit Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager. Edit the forum, and set "Show wiki headers in this forum" to "Yes".

Note:

To avoid a potential duplicate content issue, you cannot enable forum headers in the Header namespace's Top-Level forum.

To create a header, visit the forum where it will appear. Above the thread list, you should see the "Header for" the forum. In the message, "Add content to this header by editing it", click the word "editing".

Note:

Do not create headers by using the "Post New Thread" links in the Header namespace. Headers use specially formatted titles that can be difficult to enter manually.

If the forum already has a header, you can click the "Edit" button.

These links will take you to the Edit Tab for that header. When you've saved the changes, you can return to the forum by clicking the "View header in context" link on the header's Article Tab.
