Prefixes are an optional tool for standardizing the titles of many articles within the wiki. A Prefix provides another method of filtering articles, grouping articles, and telling articles apart if they might otherwise have similar titles.

The Prefix is one of the pieces of information used for generating an article's URL and to link to the article from other pages. When it appears in a URL or a link, it usually takes the form Prefix:ArticleTitle.

Each wiki article can have up to one prefix at a time.
