Note:This article assumes you have already activated content integration for user profiles. If you have not, see Activate Content Integration.

For user profiles, you can control which profiles can have wiki content integrations via the primary and secondary usergroups of that user.

In vBulletin, go to Usergroups > Usergroup Manager, and edit the desired usergroup. Under the heading "Wiki Miscellaneous," there is an item "Can have a wiki content integration on own profile?"

In XenForo, go to Users > User Groups > List User Groups, and edit the desired usergroup. Under the heading "Wiki Permissions," there is an item "Wiki content integration on profile."

Either the user or a moderator authorized to make user changes must initially add the wiki content to the profile.

Warning:An integration technically resides somewhere in the wiki. Once an integration is added, any user who can view that part of the wiki can view the content. Any user who can edit that part of the wiki can modify the content.

Warning:The original wiki content does not inherit any permissions from the location you decide to show it via content integration.

For example, if you intend to use wiki content in a user profile that is only visible to friends or followers, the wiki content can still be viewed by other users at its wiki URL.
