From time to time it will be necessary to upgrade your VaultWiki installation to the latest version, either to gain new features, or to fix newly discovered bugs in PHP, MySQL, vBulletin, or VaultWiki itself.

You can upgrade to the latest version of VaultWiki from any previous version. Keep in mind that the older your current version is, the more changes will be made during an upgrade.

When upgrading, the first step is always the same, in that you must log in to the Members' Area at http://www.vaultwiki.org/members/ and download the latest VaultWiki package.

Warning:We strongly recommend that you back up your database prior to any upgrade.
