Hi there,

I've seen that a few new phrases were added with 4.1.0 Beta 4 Build 003, so I'd think it would require a db update in XF?

There are no new phrases in the package between 4.1.0 Beta 4 build 001 and build 003.

Even if we did change phrases between builds, this could be resolved by running the upgrade script again manually in vBulletin and XenForo 1.x. In XenForo 2.x, you must use the option to Rebuild the add-on in the Add-ons manager.
