Edit ability lost for new article
While logged in as a user on XenForo a new article was created as a placeholder but is no longer able to be edited.

We are migrating our vBulletin Blogs and CMS Articles to XenForo and VaultWiki.

I logged on with the identity of one of our bloggers using the ThemeHouse log in as user addon. When I created a new article in the new area I had created, it appears, but the tile icon for it is colored red and there is no edit option. I cannot edit it as admin or as the user that created it.

The discussion is available and I pasted the blog text form the vBulletin site into the first post of the comments area.

I am planning to move a number of articles in this way and need to understand how it works.

It appears to be a bug or conflict between VaultWiki and the ThemeHouse impersonation facility.

I was not able to reproduce this behavior on my test board while logged in as a different user using the ThemeHouse add-on. For collaboration-protected articles, I was still able to edit with the impersonated user as well as the admin user.

I suspect that your articles were being sent to the moderation queue, but this does not appear to be caused by a conflict between these two add-ons. The tests I performed on my board were not sent to moderation.

From what I can tell, user permissions are correctly fetched for the impersonated user.

However, there is a case where strange things might happen. I doubt this is limited to VaultWiki but would be an issue in general while using the ThemeHouse add-on. If you are using XenForo's built-in Test Permissions function to test the permissions of one user while using the ThemeHouse add-on to login as a different user, the behavior would be undefined. I would advise not to do both actions simultaneously.

Marking this issue as Cannot Reproduce.
