I know this has been reported before, but I can't find it. In vault/core/controller/asset/vw.php, find:

$this->asset['path'] = vw_Hard_Core::model('Attach')->get_path($this->page['attachfileid'], $width);

Replace with:

Code:

$this->asset['path'] = vw_Hard_Core::model('Attach')->get_path($this->page['attachfileid'], $size[0]);

This is fixed in the next release. The "negative" effect of this was that for the 1 request where the thumbnail was not ready yet, the higher resolution copy of the image was served instead of the newly generated thumbnail.
