      user created this node?

This is not really a bug but not a feature either.
      Recent activity states:
      user created this node

This makes sense from a developers standpoint but none at all from a end users view. Normal users have no clue what a node is. They are creating and writing a wiki page about something. Therefore it should state:
      User created a wiki article.
      User created a wiki category.
      etc.

You say that this appears in Recent Activity, but both the "Recent Activity" sidebar block and XenForo's Members > "Recent Activity" news feed already use the "User created a WIKI-TYPE-NAME" format that you suggested.

The only places that I know of that use the "created this node" phrase vw_history_change_created are the History tab, Special:Contributions, and Special:RecentChanges.

I have updated this phrase in the next release so that it uses the name of the content-type in place of the word "node". For areas, that's "created this area"; for books, "created this book"; for templates, "created this template"; etc.
