      Settings to Disable edit functions

Some of the functions on the edit page are nice to have but will not be used by everyone.
Its important to keep the edit page as simple as possible for end users. Therefore we should be able to disable the functions we do not need. Please allow us to turn off each of these:
      - reason for editing
      - treat this page as
      - automatically parse (should be able to activate globally)
      - notification type (should be done by preferences)

      - I agree with "reason for editing". The omission of a means to disable this field is actually a regression from VaultWiki 3.

      - The default selections for notification type are handled by user preferences, but users need to be provided the option to opt-out before subscribing in the case that they don't wish to be notified for a particular page. This is a legal issue. For comparison, XenForo also provides notification options when commenting on a thread. Perhaps this section doesn't need to appear if the user is already subscribed to notifications, but I think it would cause user confusion if the option suddenly disappears on their next edit; if they become confused, they might report your site for legal spam violations even though the Watch tab exists. For these reasons, the notification options should be left alone.

      - Once a page exists, "Treat this page as" can usually only be changed if the user also has permission to delete the page. However, other users without that permission might still be shown the current value so that they are aware of what they are editing. If you think there is little value in showing the current value to the user when they cannot change it, we can reconsider this behavior.

      - There is already a request regarding the "automatically parse URLs" option

I dont think there is much value in showing the current value if the user cannot change it anyway. Most users will not understand the difference in content types anyway. It only confuses them.
