cat bb code not imported as categories

I think this issue was discussed in another ticket, but I cant find it.

After import from vw3 all cat bbcode shows as flat bbcode.
How do I get this to show as categories?
It seems all my categories are empty.

Do you have a CAT/CATEGORY BB-Code in XenForo? In AdminCP > Home > BB Code & Smilies > Custom BB Codes, check that a "Legacy Category Tag" exists and under the Wiki-Related Options tab, Unique Tag Key = vw_category_tag.

A category tag exists under that specific unique tag key. However the CAT bb code does not work.

Check AdminCP > Wiki > Wiki Permissions > Usergroup Permissions and make sure you have granted yourself permission for Category Permissions > Can view list of contents for Categories?

These were the main reasons why categories would appear not to be imported. Since it looks like they might not be imported at all, we will have to investigate the importer internals to see where the data is being dropped. Please open a new ticket so we can look into it: https://www.vaultwiki.org/members/?do=tickets

Fixed in 4.0.10. When importing VaultWiki 3 or 4 cross-platform (e.g. source VW+vB -> XF), wiki-related BB-Codes were not always translated to their target counterparts. This only affected target databases where a wiki BB-Code was not exactly the same as the source BB-Code (e.g. CAT -> CATEGORY), and it did not affect imports of VW3 when VW4 was in the same vBulletin.

In addition, XenForo fails to find any wiki links when saving wiki content (table vw_link is empty). The same function is involved with finding old-style categories.

To workaround this issue before the next release, make sure your source BB-Codes and target BB-Codes have the same tag names before importing. Also copy the directory vault/core/model/parser/handle/base/link/vw.php from your test to the working directory.

4.0.10 should be ready this week. The upgrade process is currently being tested.
