I was still having difficulty understanding how you intended this to work, aside from just using the IMG tag or uploading to your site (both are acceptable according to WikiCommons). This link gives a description of how it works in MediaWiki, and I assume this is what you would like to see in VaultWiki: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/InstantCommons
but don't work for e.g. 180px or left or right positions...
And: there is no button to add a picture-url...
In Mediawiki you only need the name of the picture in commons (e.g.: Geislingen-adS-EvStadtkirche.JPG) and i can use all attributes, left-rigt-center-thumb-size...)
Yes, I see what you mean. In order to finish this we need to add support for copyrights first, or any automated integration could violate image licensing: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/2783/
There is a button for picture URLs. It's the one next to the button for smilies.
The copyright system has already existed for a long time, hidden in the code. We never made a way to turn it on. Since it's already there, I would like to turn it on before 4.1. Might have to wait to 4.1 for WikiCommons integration, though.

This would be pretty cool - and i don't have headache of the copyrights...
