      Other users have reported this as well and I have confirmed myself. This problem seems to be new in the last 24-48 hours, and nothing has changed on our end. I'm going to be contacting PayPal in the AM, because it seems like they changed something in the APIs so that transactions are not validating on their end.

      Thanks Pegasus,

      Is there any way to manually process a payment? For some reason I'm in the mood to actually do things with my community :P

      If you can transfer the appropriate cart total to sales@vaultwiki.org via PayPal (without using checkout) within the next 10 minutes (please include your username in a PayPal note so I can find your cart), I will spoof the transaction as successful in our payment-received API so that it generates the proper data for your account. After 10 minutes, I will be getting some rest and won't be available for a few hours. So even if you opt to do that, I will not be immediately available for support for a bit.

      Resolved this today. I wish there was an open Stack Overflow on this issue:

      The PayPal Merchant SDK is NOT fully compatible with the Zend Opcache in PHP 5.5. We enabled the Zend Opcache two days ago and were very pleased with its performance improvements. However, after messing around today, I discovered that for some reason, the following php.ini setting results in the SetExpressCheckout API call being transmitted with corrupted values:
      Code:
      opcache.save_comments=0
      So this setting must be omitted or set to 1.

      Unfortunately this means that comments in PHP files will be preserved in the Opcache if you also want the PayPal APIs to function as expected.
