      preg error
      upon using forum merge feature

      Code:
      Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier 'j' in [path]/vault/special_plugins_inlinemod.php on line 131
      This is the error that happens when using the forums merge feature.

      Could you please tell me what to do... my mods see it every time they use the merge thread feature with forum threads.

      If I remember correctly, you have not updated in a while due to some issues you had upgrading vBulletin to 3.8.4. Nevertheless, I would recommend updating to the new version 3.0.0 when it goes gold because many, many bugs have been fixed since the 2.3 series.

      Until then, you may be able to fix this manually. In vault/special_plugins_inlinemod.php, find:
      Code:
      $urlpat = '';
      Replace with:
      Code:
      $urlpat = '#';

      We are waiting for vBulletin to release the GDK for vB4 so we can develop an appropriate vB4 style. Since they haven't given a date for the GDK yet, it's hard to say.
