Moderator Permissions Not Inherited in Child Forums

I've found a problem with moderator permissions with a child forum I have for my main Wiki Namespace/Forum.

The Moderators who are individually assigned moderatorship in the main namespace, don't inherit them in the child forums.

This specifically applies to the Physically Deleting option in the moderator options, which by default on my site is set to no. So a moderator needs to be given the permissions specifically for them to receive it. I assume this should inherit through the child forums, but in the wiki namespace, it doesn't.

However, if I manually assign them, it does work out in the end.

I think this is a bug... But not sure.

First, VaultWiki does not modify the way moderator permissions are inherited.

Second, after reviewing vBulletin's code to be sure, it would appear that vBulletin is not designed such that moderator permissions are inherited. I am unsure whether this should be considered a bug in vBulletin, or just a way moderator permissions are different from usergroup permissions.

Ok, that makes sense, though I find it odd since regular 'moderatorship' does get inherited across.

Thanks for checking it out pegasus.
