Problems editing articles after upgrade to RC3

Page says "Loading Selected Tab - Please Wait" forever

I uploaded RC3 this morning (and forgot to backup my css files - another story) but since the upgrade I've not been able to edit any articles.

If I click on edit i get a message on the screen stating "Loading Selected Tab - Please Wait" which goes on forever. And at the bottom of the page i get the "Error on Page" message which when clicked on, brings up the error message which states:

It may not seem like it, but this is actually the same as: http://www.crackedeggstudios.com/pro...eid=86#note713.

This is pretty much due to Internet Explorer's Javascript engine not being written so well, and it's kind of curious that it only started happening to you since RC3, when the special_wikitabs.js file has not been touched since RC1.

Our main concern for the next release is Javascript functionality, and this is one of those things that has already been taken care of. A rewrite of about half of special_wikitabs.js was required to make Internet Explorer happy, with all its proprietary functions, etc.

Until the next release all you can really do is discourage Internet Explorer use in the wiki. Like I said, these Internet Explorer bugs required a rewrite of some major portions of the JS.
