      Powered By Link is obtrusive...

      I don't mind having powered by links... every mod uses them. However, most mods make them easily editable so that I can move it around to fit better with the skin on my forums. Not to mention, ALL other mods make it so that the powered by message ONLY shows up on pages for that mod! The powered by link should only show up on wiki pages, it should not show up on every page on my website...

      But since thats the way it seems to be, where can I at least edit the powered by link so that it doesn't continue fucking with my template like how it does now?

      I understand some of your concerns. VaultWiki's "Powered by" link appears on other pages than just wiki pages - it appears on any page that uses one of the wiki's features. I'm not sure how it would be messing with your template.

      The powered by link adds no additional HTML block elements - it simply adds text to the end of vBulletin's copyright text. However, I agree that it needs to be phrased so the wording can be adjusted if necessary. This will be changed for the next build.

      Where can I edit it now? I dont want to just change the text on the link, I want to MOVE IT. I have gradients on the footers of some of my skins, and additional information is often showed to users in the footer... The powered by link is two extra lines that breaks my templates.

      As for it only appearing on a page that uses one of the wiki's features... thats wrong. It shows up on EVERY page. It even shows up on my vbAdvanced homepage, which has nothing to do with the wiki. http://www.8wayrun.com/index.php

      Also, I just found a new bug. No popups are working from within my wiki. Outside of the wiki, if I click on the Quick Links > Open Contacts Popup, it works fine. But within the wiki it instead pops up a create article page for misc.php.

      I'm not sure about your popup issue, since the base URL is set correctly. It may be aggravated by your CSS problems. Since you have HTML comments on for templates, it's interfering with the styles.

      In vault/special_plugins.php, find:
      Code:
      eval('$vault->misc[\'vault_css\'] .= "\n\n' . fetch_template($templatename) . '";');
      Replace with:
      Code:
      eval('$vault->misc[\'vault_css\'] .= "\n\n' . fetch_template($templatename, 0, false) . '";');

      My god... I was about to make a new post about constant CSS issues with Firefox... but I disabled HTML comments and suddenly everything works GREAT... Wow... that is so bizarre... thanks.

      So any discussion on how I can move the powered by stuff?

      And the popup issue only happens in IE, not in FF.

      The "powered by" message is currently hard-coded into the source code. You will have to wait for the next release if you want to move it somewhere else.

      I would like to re-iterate the problem with popups within the wiki...

      If I get a PM while in the wiki, and I choose to go directly to the message, it does not bring me to the message... instead it brings me here: http://www.8wayrun.com/wiki/private_php

      If I click manage attachments, it will bring me here: http://www.8wayrun.com/wiki/newattachment_php

      If I click open contacts popup, it will bring me here: http://www.8wayrun.com/wiki/misc_php

      This was originally a bug in the wiki about a year ago, but it was fixed by adding the BASE tag - you will see that this site has no problems with popups like that. Since the BASE tag is appearing as intended on your site, I'm a bit confused why it's not being used in Internet Explorer there (tested fine on Firefox and Google Chrome). I'm inclined to believe that one of the other scripts on the page is causing a conflict - possibly by resetting the base directive or erasing it entirely.

      I would start by checking if disabling AdBrite or the NCode Resizer on wiki pages has a positive effect, since these are the only scripts I saw that we don't both run, unless you have modified the core vBulletin JS files.

      If this isn't something you can do, but you can point me to the appropriate mods, I can try to reproduce this here.

      This has been phrased for the next build. You can place the text manually using
      Code:
      $vbphrase[vault_cptext]
      or, if it is not manually placed, it will be automatically added to the current default location.
