Not possible to add an image to the Images namespace
When trying to add an image to the Images namespace, an error occurs

"You must attach a file with the same filename as this article's title." is the error.

Nevertheless the title of the article is exactly the same as the filename.

My bad .... Imagename was called "IMG = Test.jpg" .... In the output I thought that IMG = was displayed by vB. Very stupid, sorry for the confusion. I have one question about referencing images though: is there a possibility to size the thumbnail, or do I need to upload a seperate image for that ? If I reference the image by:

      Code:
      [image]image.jpg|image.jpg|The caption[/image]
the image is shown full size....

Nice article, explains a lot. But one small problem, if you are not logged in you cannot see half the images, and clicking on them takes you to pages that say you do not have permission...you could scare off a few new members with this..

Yeah, the problem with that is that you would need to give guests permission to download attachments. I don't know why vBulletin did it like this, it would be better if an image could be treated differently or you could set different permissions for each file type.

However, the attachment downloading permission is available as a per-forum permission, so you can allow guests to download in the Images' top-level forum only.

      Thanks for the heads up.

I had not checked what Guests were seeing in our Encyclopedia. It was our intent that it be more open than the rest of our forums.

I used forum permissions to allow usergroup 1 to see images and all the namespaces.
