Single line entry in suggested template window

The main feedback we have on the suggested templates, instead of post Macros add-on, is that every single entry is a full RTE.

It makes the entry very unwieldy when entries into a template are frequently text only.

Is there any way this can be made an option? Otherwise I'm probably going to return to the post macros for filling infoboxes with a pop-up I think.

We will consider making template parameters rendered in a popup default to a textbox that can be toggled to full RTE with a control next to each textbox. I am not sure about doing this for "exact" templates however (where the main RTE is replaced by only template parameters). I am also unsure how soon such a change could be made and released. The window before next release is closing rapidly and main development is already towards 4.2.
