Table of contents breaks tables

When a table of contents is auto-generated for an article, the table in that article disappears

Tables that contain headings disappear as soon as an article has an auto-generated table of contents.

The ToC seems to be generated when you pass a certain number of headings. Thus this article will display correctly as a table:

Using only the code provided, I cannot reproduce the problem. On my XF 2.x forum, the second sample results in a page that shows both the TOC and the table. Is this the exact code that is failing, or is there other content on the page? Perhaps there is more required to reproduce the issue. You can send me the full BB-Code of any problematic page via PM.

Here it all is. This has just enough headings to trigger the ToC, and that means a blank space where the table should be.

I still could not reproduce this issue on my board so I had a look at yours. This turned out to be an issue with your custom style which was causing the TOC and the table to float side by side (the table was floating off the right edge of the page, because the TOC was also set to 100% width).

I added the following rule to your vw_additional.less template:

Since this was due to custom styling, this is closed as Not a Bug.
